Explain to me whats so wrong with a man marrying a horse? Is it the lack of so called "sentience" in his chosen mate? Is it the interspecies barrier? A while back the race barrier was a problem, that was changed. Yes I agree that allowing a man to marry a horse whilst at the same time not allowing same sex marriage is ridiculous, but not because the notion of a man (or indeed a woman) loving and/or marrying an animal is. Just like any other sexual orientation zoophilia is not a choice, and I'm 100% certain there are zoophiles who love their mates a hell of a lot more than some same-species people love their partners.
Before anyone mentions the words animal abuse, heres a slight fact you may or may not be aware of. Zoophiles love their mate. Its even in the label, phile or philia meaning "to love". Therefore at the first sign of distress, they would stop whatever it is they're doing. Not only that, but have you ever been bitten by a dog, or kicked by a horse? Trust me, just by not tearing you to pieces or sending you flying they're giving their consent. Rant over.
