oh wow... i never even thought about that.... but i cant go vedgetarian i love meat T-T now i feel bad.... but my mom worked on a farm and she had to do it to chickens, she said she had to grab it by the neck and twirl it around real quick, and it would snap the head off.... o.o poor turkey... poor chicken.... ... i can smell the turkey cooking right now.... >.<

no offense but i really think that these vegetarians aren't right. these turkeys have to be killed one way or the other. and it costs GOOD money to have one put down humainly. and there are at least a thousand turkeys there. so thats alot of money for this company to dish out cause a couple of tree huggers, no offense, are pissed off. god put turkeys on this planet for people, the domanant species, to eat. so dont give me ANY of this vegetarian shit. i dont care how they are treated, its bad yea, but i need the protein to live, and so does everybody else on this planet, so just eat the bird and shut the fuck up already

personally i think cutting the jugular vein on the throat is the quickest way for animals to be slaughtered as the animal is dead within a minute or 2. But this video just goes to show how cruel humans are. I mean the pain that the turkeys feel must be akin to when i have hit my nail while trying to hammer in a nail but although this one is multiplied god knows how many times. I watched it for the best part of 1 minute and no more. This is way too cruel.

I'm vegetarian. Meat makes me physically sick so i can't eat it. but this helps me not feel bad about not eating meat. and for those who said god put turkeys here for people, what if there is no god? then what are turkeys here for? And either way, if they are here to eat, they still aren't here to be tortured. I wouldn't want to get myself in a situation where id be treated like crap before i was slaughtered and eaten.

I don't eat fuck all meat and when I do it's free range and I'm not claiming to be making any difference in these animals lives.. But at least at the end of the day I'm in a position of choice and I choose not to eat that shit, I don't want that in my body.

honestly it doesn't cost money to put down a turkey humainly, its as easy as getting a good knife. thats all there is to it. it takes less take to cut a turkeys head off than to stomp it and try to twist its head off...i live, basically, on a farm so it can be done.

You can still eat meat but all you have to do is make sure that where you get your meat from is a proccessing plant that treats its animals humainly. Or hunt it yourself. I dont have a problem with how farm animals have to be killed its just as humane to break the neck as it is to shoot it but that doesnt mean its ok to torture the animal.
