Yepp, sure looks liek a male.

Hard to tell age, but that's a synthetic hip joint on the left and the bone density looks a little light... so i' guessing it IS an old man. If not, a very unhealthy young man.

Sorry to disappoint some, but the bottle has been added on the radiograph, photoshoped or else. Glass does not appear on a radiograph, and furthermore if it did then you wouldn't see the pelvis over it, as everything on a radiograph appears to be on the same plane; no 3 dimensions there.

This can be true, i dont know if this is the actual picture, but a very similar case took place in pakistan and made it on the internet.. a 60 year old guy in Multan,Pakistan was robbed of his two buffaloes... and also got a pepsi bottle shoved up his behind. the xray of that one is more shocking than this. and has perhaps made it to one of the most bizzare xray list.

im an x-ray tech, its a woman because of the angle of her pelvis on the bottom of it, i have an x-ray of a guy that has a beer bottle up his butt haha
