Singeing on all underside surfaces of the face combined with the shredding of the meat on the neck suggests an explosion from below, most possibly he was a suicide bomber. Amazing how the aorta or veins of the neck had more skin tension/flexability than his spine which seems to have disengaged directly from his skull.
